These are some of the trendiest colors you’ll be seeing this summer!

I feel like everyone expected white as a summer color, it’s a summer classic even for those who aren’t into fashion. Who doesn’t have memories of staining their white shirts with their popsicle in July? White pieces give any outfit a clean, fresh look that is the anthem of summer; it also goes with everything, from jeans and sneakers to a flowy skirt and heels. What I love about white is that any style whether it be vintage, minimal, grungy, or athleisure, can incorporate white. But if you’re like me, be careful! You don’t wanna mess up your summer outfit with any food stains (shoutout to all the messy-eaters out there).

If you want to try out this color definitely trying wear a light white summer dress or a simple white t-shirt that you can easily spice up with your own style. If you’re more adventurous in fashion and are a pretty clean person then try wearing an all-white ensemble to brighten up your day.

Pink, meaning neutral pink, also isn’t a surprise. Dusty and neutral pinks have definitely made a stance in fashion last year and looks like they’re going to stay for a while. The thing about pink, even neutral pinks, is that there are so many different shades and undertones so anyone could try this color out. Due to its neutral shades, neutral pinks can be applied to most styles to add a soft elegant touch; these colors look especially good with casual and chic styles. This color is going to make you feel like you stepped out of a Vogue magazine!

Neutral pinks look especially good with colors like nude and white and creates a very polished look even if you added denim and sneakers to the look. Due to the softness of the color, it’s a color that even people who are starting to get into fashion can easily master; it also is a color that doesn’t seem overpowering so you can rock an all-pink ensemble or just a pop of the color if that’s not your thing.

I feel like the most shocking color of the season is yellow. It shouldn’t be though, out of all of the colors, yellow is the color we associated with summer ever since we were in kindergarten, but just because we liked using the yellow crayon for coloring doesn’t mean that we like to use it in fashion. For the longest, yellow seemed like the color the brave hearted wore. Its bright hue seemed too obnoxious and wasn’t something that many styles could incorporate. Yellow was the color for people who liked bright, colorful, and quirky looks. Also yellow wasn’t always a flattering color for certain skin tones, but all this has changed.

Mustard yellow, although it sounds unflattering, made its appearance last fall and winter seasons and is coming back for the summer. This color isn’t too bright to the point that it looks intimidating, but it’s bright enough to catch someone’s eye and brighten up a look. A reason why this color is so popular is because like white and neutral pinks, mustard yellow is a color that works for every style. This vibrant color can bring a fun and young vibe to outfits by implementing a yellow top, jacket, or a bag (all over yellow is for the more brave hearted, but go for it). Mustard yellow also brings out the inner glow in darker skin tones and doesn’t wash out lighter skin tones either.

Which color will you be slaying this summer?
